I enjoyed your description of the back-to-back, thanks for sharing. I believe my friend Nathan was planning on meeting you a week or two ago to practice tracking. If he didn't call it was my fault, I got sick. I hope you guys can get together in the future.

Hey Nick, I live in Paonia, which is actually just about a 4:40 drive from Laffayette. I live about a 2 hour drive west from Aspen. (It's a little closer to me than you). I am willing to meet you where ever though. I have have some family in Denver that I am planning on visiting on around the 30th till the 2nd. All week days though. I don't know if there is something we could do during one of those evenings. If your up for it, and think of something let me know. It is getting cold and not as easy to be outdoors but I hope we can still figure something out. Talk to you soon,

Nick, welcome. I would love to get together with you and practice skills. I am not very advanced in my tracking capabilities, but I a have passion for learning more. I am also very interested in medicinal plants. I just lost my job and have all the time in the world to pursue this type of thing. I live on the other side of the mountains from you but considering I went to California to go to the Tracker School, 6 or so hours of driving doesn't sound so bad. We have lots of nice wilderness around here too, and I have built a large tracking box to mess around in. Let me know what your schedule is like, and if you want to get together sometime soon. Advanced Standard and Tracking

I attended the back-to-back in California, March 2006. It rained 11 of the 14 days I was there. The ground was so saturated, huge oak trees were falling, uprooted by their own weight. Scary, hearing loud cracks and heavy thumps as trees fell in the middle of the night.
